The goal of this program is to work with students to develop the abilities to become professional directors in a variety of lighting positions. It provides in-depth knowledge of lighting fundamentals and their application and the technological understanding and intelligence with the ability to use the knowledge skillfully.

Indoor Lighting Design classes provide the student with a balanced exposure to both creative and technical elements of indoor lighting.
They involve theoretical and practical training emphasizing concept developing, lighting composition and technical knowledge through studio and practical projects and are designed to prepare the student for careers in indoor lighting design.
